Art Pop is a process art studio and making space in Somerset, MA. As a team we believe passionately in the magic of creating art. Our studio and the work that we do represents our values, ideas and aesthetic. Our intention is to demonstrate care, respect and kindness to all families in our community.

We are looking for a friendly, hard working, self motivated, responsible, team player to support and assist with our drop-in making space, studio classes, events and birthday parties for children ages walking to 13 years old. This is a customer-facing role with many task related responsibilities.

As part of the Art Studio Staff you will be responsible for:

• Assisting with set up, teaching and clean up of from programs

• Maintaining a clean and organized environment.

• Preparing materials for process art kits, classes, parties, and/or events when applicable.

• POS System in regards to Art Pop retail area and studio space, and gift cards sales.

Desired Experience:

• Experience with completing tasks in a timely and efficient manner.

• Self starter who is able to work well independently and multi-task with ease and confidence.

• Team player who works well with others.

• Appreciation for process art.

• Prior experience or interest in working with children ages 2-13 and their families.

• Quality control and attention to detail.

Job Positions Open:

Art Camp Leader

Salary: $30-40 per hour based on experience

Schedule:

July - Mid August: Monday through Friday Mornings

15-20 hours/wk

Birthday Party Leader

Salary: $20-30 per hour based on experience

Schedule:

Saturdays when parties are booked, Afternoons

3+ hours/wk

Education:

Higher Education or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

Working with children: 3 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

Driver's License
